Flood and Erosion Advice

The Council provides advice and information on coastal, river and drainage engineering for land owners on the West Coast.

If a landowner is not in a designated scheme area (Special Rating District) our Engineers can assist with advice and, if requested by the community, look at more comprehensive mitigation options through potential new management schemes.
