Pre-Election Report
The Pre-Election report is a means to inform the regional community and promote public discussion about any financial issues facing the Council. The Preparation and timing of a pre-election report is a mandatory requirement for all councils in New Zealand under the Local Government Act 2022. As is required by law, the Pre-Election Report is prepared by the Council's Chief Executive and not the current elected Council members.
