Expressions of interest Buller constituency representative

West Coast Regional Council

WCRC is seeking expressions of interest for filling the vacant Buller constituency representative position from February 2025 till the end of the current local government term. The next local government elections take place 11 October 2025.

Eligibility:

Those interested in filling the vacancy must:

• be registered on the current electoral roll
• be resident in Buller constituency.

If you are interested in representing your community please email: info@wcrc.govt.nz with the following:

• a profile statement of up to 150 words containing information about yourself and your suitability to fill this vacancy. Your statement must be confined to information about you.
• state whether or not your principal place of residence (being the address in respect of which you are registered as a parliamentary elector) is in Buller, e.g. ‘My principal place of residence is in Buller constituency, or ‘My principal place of residence is not in Buller constituency [This is not part of the 150-word limit.]

The information you provide will be submitted to the WCRC panel considering the applications.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 5pm 15 January 2025.
