Exciting news!!! A new five-year project aims to completely remove possums from 3,700 ha of Mt Te Kinga as part of a coordinated predator control programme across the wider Lake Brunner basin, benefitting biodiversity and boosting regional development and tourism. Minister Sage is at Iveagh Bay, Moana, to announce the project which will receive $4.4m from Predator Free 2050 Limited to complement significant in-kind contributions from the West Coast Regional Council, farmers and community groups as part of a total project budget of $15.7m.
