After your freshwater farm plan is complete, it will need to be certified by a council approved certifier. You will need to contact and engage the certifier from the list provided here and to ensure you have your FWFP certified within 18 months of your FMU roll out date.
You will then need to carry out the actions you have committed to in the FWFP and within 12 months of certification will need to have the actions audited by a Council-approved auditor. You will need to contact and engage the auditor from the list provided here.
The outcome of the audit will determine future auditing requirements, as shown in the table below.
